(Airport Capacity Assessment and Optimization)

Airport Capacity Assessment and Optimization is a model for the simulation of airport capacity that allows:

• the calculation of maximum theoretical airport capacity;
• the calculation of real maximum airport capacity (with limitations imposed by taxiways, aprons, parkings);
• the calculation of the increase of actual capacity obtainable without modifying the available resources;
• the calculation of the increase of actual capacity obtained through the modernizations foreseen;
• the design of airport infrastructures in accordance with Feasibility Studies/Master Plans.
