(Primary Surveillance Radar Receiver upgrade)
RX 1909 is a Primary Surveillance Radar receiver, based on Hi Tech
COTS components.
It is designed and developed to upgrade old generation radars subject
to severe maintenance problems caused by the obsolescence of
electronic components and to poor performance with respect to modern
receivers, without the need to substitute the whole radar set with a
new one.
